I'm always ready to try new shops that are outside my comfort zone, and if you've read my blog for very long, you've probably noticed a shocking lack of slinky dresses and cold shoulder pieces. Sometimes we have these perceived body flaws that really aren't as bad as we imagine if they're present at all. Body-con dresses in slinky fabric? It makes me fell rather shy and insecure to think of it. But, I ordered the dress, determined to try it and I'm glad I did. I think the fit and the cut are surprisingly comfortable and flattering. Taking a risk can be scary, but taking a fashion risk doesn't have to be. Stores have return policies for that very reason. In the end, I think it's a pretty cute little dress.
