Strolling Through Paris:ootd

This past week in Japan has been difficult to say the least.  I don't want to delve into too much detail because this is a fashion blog and not really the place where I discuss such things. Suffice to say the earthquakes happened to the south of us and while we're so thankful to have avoided any damage or loss, our hearts truly go out to all those who've lost homes or loved ones.  The earthquakes were followed by a storm with winds so strong the trains stopped running.   Hopefully nature will quiet down soon so that people can begin to rebuild and repair.
So, for today just a quick outfit post that didn't make it to the blog before I had my bangs cut, but I really liked this it, so I wanted to post it anyway.  On this particular day, I was thinking of Paris, maybe because I'm planning a Paris and pink poodles party for my girls.  Whatever the reason I had that great city on my mind when I put this look together.  It's been about 15 years since I was in Paris, and while I doubt that I'll ever make it back to that beautiful place, it was an experience I will never forget.
This is a budget outfit.  The top and skirt came from ThredUp, my favorite online thrift shop.   Use this link to sign up and save $20 off your first order http://www.thredup.com/r/WKVOY   The coat was purchased at ModCloth's big sale a few months ago.  And all the jewelry I made myself.  Head to toe this whole look cost less than $50.
