I find that the first thing I do in the morning sets the tone for the rest of my day. If I plop down in front of a screen, that's pretty much where I'll be for the day. If, on the other hand, I do something productive, I'll likely be productive all day. And better still, if I do something active first thing in the morning, I'll have the energy to do everything I want to do with my day.
If I start my day with a little walk like this to my favorite quiet little field, I find that I will have a better day than if I start it any other way. Of course, I need a sweater now since summer's over and the lovely people at Shewin were kind enough to send over this Dark Gray Cardigan to keep me cozy on my autumn jaunts.
Oh, this sweater is exactly what I've been looking for. It's just the right length and color and it's perfect for layering up with my floral dress for a boho casual look. Pockets are a must when I'm searching for the perfect sweater and this cardi has them, plus, I love the vintage style buttons.
Shewin has so many lovely things--tops, bottoms, and dresses-- I hope to collaborate with them again in the future, but in the meantime, I'm staying warm in my dark gray cardi both on my walks and while I watch it drizzle outside from the comfort of my fireside window. That is the very best part of fall.
