Normally I would meticulously edit out an exposed bra strap, but I just don't feel like it today, so you'll find it in every picture, front and center. When it comes to New Year's Resolutions, I'm very hit or miss on making them, but this year, I'm thinking it over and considering if I want to make the resolution to "do less." Take this dress for example, I could have spent hours photo editing, but instead, I did less and presented the dress just as it is even if it makes the photo a little less lovely and clean.
Sometimes I care way too much and I have to remind myself that things don't matter as much as I think they do. I bought this sequined, glittery star dress with New Year's Day in mind. It's a lovely dress and if you'd like to see my full review before I altered the dress, you can view the video at the bottom or click here.
I had a slight issue with this dress, which was the plunging neckline, so I made an adjustment and went out to take photos. However, it was still too low, so I'm going to have to make another adjustment to it. If only I'd known that BerryEra would make the adjustments for me, I would certainly have had it tailored while they were making it.
Alas, I didn't know they would tailor it, but I don't regret buying the dress and I look forward to taking some snowy winter pics in it, or, dare I hope, sending my beautiful daughter to prom in it. I also look forward to a year of scaling back, stepping away, and enjoying some peace and quietness as much as possible.
