Nightcap Beach Day Dress Delays: Part 1

If you're keeping count, this is the second collection launch in which I have secured everything on my reasonable list and thennnnnn......I see one more.  Annnnd then sometimes one more.  This Nightcap Beach Day dress was that second one more.  I hadn't planned on buying anything in this print but after trying the Beach Day Dress in Love Letters, I became an instant fan of the style.  This dress sold out and then a few weeks later was restocked.  I knew if I wanted it I would have to act immediately, so I did and fortunately so because by the end of the day every single size was sold out.  It may restock again with the second launch so don't lose hope if you've missed it.  The Nightcap print reminds me of a still life painting by one of the Dutch masters and I'm quite taken with it in this style in particular, so I bought it as one last little Christmas gift for myself.  No offense to friends and family but I really do give myself the best Christmas gifts.
-----Update-----
Well, only three days after ordering this dress, I received the dreaded notification that Selkie had oversold this dress and I could either cancel the order and get a full refund or accept a 20% refund and wait until March while the dress is in production.  I've read about this sort of thing happening to loads of people in the Selkie groups, so it wasn't a total shock.  I'm not the most patient person in the world but if I look at it as a Spring Pre-order instead of a fall delay it may help soothe my impatience, so I've accepted the partial refund for the inconvenience and now I have a lovely florals to look forward to all throughout the long and seemingly endless winter.
