Leggings or Not

Well, as the remodeling drags on another week, I thought it best to switch back to a few fashion posts until our work around the house is all caught up.  These photos were taken a few months ago, but I didn't get around to sharing them which just means I am extra thankful to have them now.

I loved this little floral print mini dress by J Crew, it even has pockets!  but it was too short to be worn as a dress alone, so I wanted to to a quick demo of how leggings can change a look. 

I opted for dark brown leggings, but in the end, the reason these pics sat on the shelf for so long is that I didn't like the contrast of such dark leggings with this top.  Something denim or tan maybe but the brown was just not right.

Not every outfit works out the way I hope; that's part of the fun of blogging is getting to try things and figure out what looks best.
