"Let us go then, you and I,
When the evening is spread out against the sky"
~excerpt The Love Song of Sir Alfred J. Prufrock by T.S. Eliot
I love it when things work out and I didn't even have to plan them. Maybe because it's such a rare occurrence. I know plenty of people who effortlessly have most things fall into place for them, but that's not how things in my life seem to go. So, it was an unexpected pleasure when I just happened to have this 40s style outfit on when I was going to pick up my girls from school and I saw this field full of pink wood sorrel flowers glowing in the perfect lighting.
They were to pretty I stopped to snap a few pics. Of course school had just let out, so I got to wave at all my girls' classmates and the next day at school I got to answer questions about what I was doing sitting in a field, but it was worth it for a few pics on this lovely cloudy spring afternoon.
