Have you ever moved to a place you thought was going to be great, but the longer you stayed the more awful things you uncovered? I think we've all had that experience at least once in our lives and if you're one of the few who hasn't chances are you probably will in the future. But, I've never before moved to a place where the longer I stay the more good things my neighbors have to say about our little community. I've heard more than one refer to this as "my own little slice of paradise," and I didn't fully think that when we moved in, but the longer I stay, the more I'm inclined to agree. It's wild out here to be sure and I've also heard a neighbor or two remark that it takes a certain kind of person to live out here, one who has a little chutzpah, but hearing that just makes me feel a little more special and a little more grateful to be where I am.
