It's been a while since I've done a Barbie post, so I thought it was time that I showed off another of my Unique-Vintage purchases. I could not be more thrilled that UV decided to do a Barbie collection because I have been a fan of vintage Barbie for as long as I can remember.

This dress is extremely well made and very good quality materials were used. The bodice is a textured fabric and has lots of stretch to it so you get a perfect fit. I've noticed a few other bloggers wearing some extreme waist cinchers to get that true Barbie shape, but I don't like to do that since most people don't own those things. I want you to know how it truly looks without any assistance, or if I do use shape wear I always try to mention it.
The mermaid tail is a thick, sturdy tulle that keeps it full shape without any prompting on your part and it's removable in case you want to change your look or simply need it store a little easier.
While I know it's a small detail, I feel that I should mention that the rose very well made as well is also removable should you not want that little color pop at the side.
I didn't exactly go full cosplay on this outfit and get the shoes, triple strand necklace and pink scarf, but this is just a trial run, so maybe I'll keep working on that and post again in a few months.
