No more keeping you in suspense. The wait is over, photos of the second dress from my Teuta Matoshi shopping spree are here and I love everything about this dress! This Lilac Dotted was my first choice between the three I was debating over, but I just wasn't sure I could wear this look. I am so glad I bought both dresses.
Gorgeous colors, lots of layers, lace, velvet, pockets, this dress has it all. This purple is probably my favorite. It is lilac, which is also my favorite scent and favorite spring flower. I feel like I can have lilacs year round in this dress. This dress is basically two dresses in one. There is a bustier lace mini dress as the first layer and the second layer is all these lovely sheer layers of lilac tulle.
The tulle is very soft and lightweight, no stiffness or scratchiness to the fabric, and I love the lace mini skirt as an extra touch instead of just a purple underskirt. The bodice has corset boning and the bra cups work quite nicely on their own, so I didn't need any extra support.
I'm not sure exactly how I came across these shoes by Pinup Couture, but they seemed to be made for this dress with those matching colors.
I adore this dress so much, I cannot tell you how much. And, I should note that there are two brands of heels which I love for how comfortable they are and Pinup Couture is one of them. Even though these pumps have a built in platform, they are comfortable, easy on the metatarsals, and I didn't feel like I was on the balance beam the whole time. Being able to walk without wobbling really adds to the confidence one feels when wearing a dress and heels.
