Autumn, autumn, autumn, is officially here, but unofficially, it's still very much summer. I'm ready for fall pics, but it's just not time yet, so I decided to improvise for today's post and maybe start something new in the process by revisiting old favorites.
I may have mentioned this before, but I have made literally thousands of posts with very few repeats, but every now and then, I look back on an outfit and think, wow, can I ever really top that? And, more importantly, do I really need to try?
This particular autumn when these photos were taken was not only one of our very first out here on the farm, it was also one of the very loveliest. And, in a moment of breathtaking natural beauty, I managed to drop everything, pull this outfit together and try to capture just a moment of it.
The skirt is handmade by me and I was so excited to not only have found this perfect foxy fabric, but to have actually finished this skirt in time for fall that it made me so happy to be able to wear on this pretty day.
So, since I do have thousands of posts and since some of them, I still love so much to this very day that I think it's a shame they only got posted on here once and maybe never seen again, I decided to start a little thread called Posts That Bear Repeating, so we can revisit some past outfit bests. To that end, take a stroll down memory lane with me and I won't say anymore.
