Spruce Up Your Holidays

Since there's so much spruce and pine decorating doorways and banisters as wreaths and garland, I thought I'd wear a little spruce too.

I love this spot for photos.  I found it by accident last year and this morning when I saw how it was freshly decorated again this year and wanted to do another set of pics here.

Tis the season for plaid, so I thought I'd wear this Co-Ords set from SheIn.  I had to do a little creative layering with an eyelet top to make it weather appropriate.  

I didn't really think much about layering up, but evidently it's a bit avant garde for some.  A friend of mine saw it and commented, "Hmmm, I've never seen an outfit put together like that."  

I don't know if that means she likes it or hates it, but I'm happy with it and that's all that matters.

Whatever the case, I'm in the season, really feeling the joy, feeling the love, and feeling all spruced up.
