The irises are in full bloom by the old church. It was only days ago I saw the buds and thought I have to stop soon and snap a photo there. All the colors standing at attention and neatly in their rows on this spring morning, a tidy bit of reliability and order in the chaos. I've been busy all spring taking photos of and in the flowers, it has less to do with fashion at times and more to do with the fact that I never tire of watching things grow, waiting for new life to shyly peek out and take its chance in the world.
