The buttercup fields are blooming again. This morning it was cloudy, but the wind was warm, a perfect day for flower picking. The old barn in the distance looks like it was built on stilts and it is so unusual, I know there must a story behind it, but it's quiet in the field today. There's no one to ask about history and barn raising. I guess I'll just have to content myself with gathering up as many of these golden flowers as I can to take home and fill up every vase and brighten every dusty dreary corner of the house.
