Keep Showing Up

Have you ever had a dream or a goal you desperately wanted to achieve?  Have you ever wanted to accomplish something, even something small?  Have you put yourself out there, struggled and...failed?

We have all had our ambitions at some time or other in our lives; that's human nature.  But, how many of us can say we have achieved our objectives?  What is it that separates the successful from the unsuccessful?

Success at any endeavor is a lengthy and complicated process.  There is no single thing that ensures it, but I do believe that there is something that greatly improves your chances of being successful--Keep Showing Up. 

It sounds so simple, doesn't it.  The truth often does.  And yet, how many of us get discouraged and give up on our dreams before we've really had a chance to invest in them?  If you work and try every day of your life you might not achieve your goals.  If you give up you certainly will not.

But, I will guarantee you this: if you will continue to pursue your goals you will get far far closer to them than if you did nothing at all.  And your life will be richer for your persistence.  You won't have to constantly look at your life in dismay and wonder "what if."  Instead you will hold your head up knowing you worked hard and you climbed higher than you ever would have be resigning yourself to defeat.
