It was summer of last year when I began a collaboration with Gown Town and I adored their dresses so much that I kept an eye on this particular style, waiting for it to return in this gorgeous mint green. It did return and I bought it right away. At the same time I bought a dress from a competitor to do a little comparison. The truth is they don't really compare.
Sorry, to sum up the video so quickly in the post, but there it is. I know mint green isn't exactly a traditional Valentine's Day color, but it's still in the spirit of love, because I do love this dress. It is the perfect fit and I put a pink petticoat underneath, so it sort of counts for Valentine's.
I was so impressed by the differences in these two dresses that I had to make a video--that should tell you something because I really do not like making videos. I'm a shy person, I feel hopelessly awkward in front of the camera, and I dread those horrid comments people make. But, I did it anyway and I hope this video will mainly stay between us here on the blog.
Also, I have something very special in mind for a video coming up in March and I need the practice. I think you're going to really love what I have on the way next month. In the meantime, enjoy the video and I'll see you tomorrow with photos of the next dress in this series.
