Teuta Matoshi Opalescent Floral Sequined Dress Review

Teuta Matoshi Opalescent Floral Sequined Dress Review and Promo code
Here at long last is the post all about this stunning Opalescent Floral Sequined Dress from Teuta Matoshi.  If you haven't guessed by now from all my reviews of her gowns, Teuta Matoshi is one of my favorite designers because not only does she make gorgeous designs, but her team turns out quality work that is worth every penny.

Since I've also done a video review of the Opalescent dress, in this post I'll just hit the highlights.  This dress fits true to size everywhere except the belt which was several inches too big, so that I will have to make my own hole for the belt buckle.  On that basis alone, because the belt is so integral to the overall effect of the colors of the dress, I would recommend custom sizing this dress or at least asking for a custom size belt to make sure you get the right fit.
The dress features a bustier style bodice with supportive cups, which are also lined!, so that no bra is necessary.  The bodice is a bit see through.  The tie straps are nice but the dress stays p just fine without them, so they can be loose if you prefer.  There is a zipper down the back which I managed to zip without any help and didn't snag on this delicate mesh fabric and that's a plus as it has happened in a couple of the other dresses.  There's also a hook and eye at the top of the zipper to be clasped first to allow for easier zipping whether you're going at it solo or getting help from an extra set of hands.

This dress also has a top layer of mesh with all the sequined pretties, three more layers of blush mesh under that, and then two layers of a very lightweight satin lining.  It never ceases to surprise me how light these dresses are, especially when compared to the imposters.  They're not heavy, scratchy, hot, none of those things.  They're ethereal and gorgeous.
I promised myself that after this dress I would give the credit cards a rest.  But.......there are a couple more dresses I would like to try and I think I've been burned enough times by trying to find a cheaper version that I don't even want to waste my time searching for one of those.  Truth be told, you know me and I hate debt.  So, I don't put these dresses on credit cards.  What I do is work extra hours, save up, have yard sales, etc., and wait until I have the money to pay for them outright.

Yes, it means a delay of gratification and there are times when the wait seems torturous and endless, but in the end, it makes the dress all the sweeter because I can enjoy it without the stress of wondering how I'm going to pay for it.  That's just me and it's working pretty well so far.
