The tree is up, the house is as decorated as it's going to get and now there's just the matter of thinking of a few things to get for colleagues and co workers. That's the hardest part for me. I don't know them well enough to get something personal, but I don't want to waste my money on things they won't use. It's tough.
I usually manage, but it's never easy. This year, there are some people in my circle who just been hit with some really tough work requirements and they're struggling. I thought bringing them all a hot lunch might be the best thing since I know how hectic their workdays have become and this might take some of the pressure off.
As for the rest, well, I'm still thinking. But, I'm getting in the spirit of the season and this star dress isn't overtly Christmasy, but it does give me the Christmas feels. This dress was a ModCloth star back in the golden days of MC. I couldn't swing it at the time but I found it new with tags on resale site for a song. I'm so glad to have this Emily and Fin dress in my wardrobe because it's so comfortable and pretty.
So, while I'm still searching and thinking and planning, hopefully I'll be able to find just the right things or gestures to show the people I care about just how much they mean to me.
