Desperate for the Mucha Cottage Puff, I came across a rental shop that had the desired dress for a very reasonable purchase price. In order to get said dress, though, I had to sign up for at least a one month rental term. Desperate for this cottage puff and tired of waiting on Selkie, I decided to try Nuuly.com.
Nuuly.com is a fashion rental service and here's how it works: Sign up to rent. Choose any six items from Nuuly, add them to your cart and checkout. Your rentals should arrive in 3-5 days and you get to keep them for one month. You can extend your rental time or even purchase your favorites for a fraction of the retail price. If you don't see anything you love or need a break, you can pause your rental agreements for 1-3 months or cancel if things just aren't working out.
I placed my Nuuly order on a Saturday and my bundle arrived on the following Thursday. Apparently UPS had some mechanical error which led to a 1-2 day delay in delivery, otherwise it would have arrived sooner. Me being me, I chose six dresses, starting with this Alva Dress by Let Me Be. It retails for $315 though I could tell that the one I received has been worn and laundered a few times. Never the less, I'm looking forward to wearing all these dresses as much as possible and I'll be posting a new Nuuly outfit each day.
Of course, if you're the impatient type, you can watch my full review on my YouTube channel, but be advised, in my haste to do the outfit changes, I think I put a couple of things like this particular dress, on backwards.
