Collaborations are such a fun creative exercise for me, that I always love it when brands like Belle Poque reach out and want to work together. My creative gears start turning and I love going through my closet and putting together outfits.
Belle Poque has so many great vintage styles but this pretty yellow dress with the floral bouquet print has been on my wishlist for months now, so of course it was my top pick for collaboration and I am so glad that it is finally a part of my wardrobe.
This illustration is so authentically 1950s vintage that I absolutely adore it. When I fist saw it, I immediately thought that it was exactly like something I would see in a black and white photography of my grandmother.
Made of a knit fabric, this dress has some stretch and some very flattering ruching at the bust and across the tops of the shoulders, and I love the way the there are butterflies scattered across the bodice. The dress comes with black belt, but changing the color of the belt is another great way to change the overall look, so I'll definitely experiment.
The silhouette is spot on and the colors are gorgeous, perfect for spring, summer and fall, and you know I've got a cardigan in every color to change up this outfit, so I can't wait to see how many outfits I can make from this dress.
