It's hard to be serious when I'm with my mom and for this particular photo shoot it was just the two of us. Mom's photography method is simple: Keep pushing the button until someone says Stop. So, if I look like I'm simultaneously slightly confused and on the verge of laughter that's why. Not that wandering in a field of glorious yellow wild flowers is conducive to stern stoicism, it's just that these flowers aren't particularly amusing on their own.
