I realized today that I haven't read anything from one of my favorite bloggers in a while, so I headed over to check out her latest post, only to see that her latest post was November of 2019. As much as I hate to say it, I'm afraid another of my favorite blogs has shuttered its doors. Maybe temporarily, maybe for good. Either way, I'm sad to see it go, but this is the nice thing about blogging--you can come and go as you please.
A few months ago I had a brand decide to end our collaborations because I am a blogger. They wanted me to have my own domain name and website, but that, my dear friends, costs money. If it's going to cost money then it should make money to pay for itself, right? And if it has to make money, then the pressure is on. And if the pressure is on then blogging stops being fun and becomes work.
I believe in balance to all things. A little work; A little fun. Too much of either leads to dissatisfaction. I have a job and a family, and a farm, and quite frankly, I don't need anymore work. I just want a nice little space to relax and have fun. That's what my blog is and that's how I want it to stay.
And maybe my fellow blogger did too. Maybe she just got too bogged down with other things--we all remember how crazy last year was--and decided to put blogging on hold for a while. I hope she'll be back one day, but if she doesn't come back, I understand and I wish her well.
I also want to take just a moment to thank all the wonderful brands who accept me as I am and want to work with me. It's been such a wonderful experience working with so many great companies, and being able to show you some great styles at great prices.
It sort of sounds like I'm saying goodbye and this is my farewell speech, but nothing could be further from the truth. I'm just pausing in my hectic schedule to be thankful for this space, and everything about blogging. It has been more than just an amusement; it's been therapeutic. And thank you, dear reader, for accepting me as I am. Thanks for listening and thanks for sharing.

Thank you for stopping by! I read every comment and I always try to respond. This is a polite and respectful blog, so please keep your comments polite and respectful too, or I will delete them. ;)
I ALSO DO NOT PUBLISH COMMENTS WHICH ARE INTENDED TO DIRECT TRAFFIC TO ANOTHER BLOG OR WEBSITE! It's cheap and tacky, so don't do it.
