Life on Repeat

Most of us just aren't very interesting, myself included.  Interesting things happen to each of us now and again, but as far as just being interesting or being in a constant state of interesting occurences, 'fraid not.  I don't really mind talking about my run-of-the-mill life, post after post, but I do get the occasional complaint, that I talk about the same things over and over.  Honestly, this blog is mostly about outfits, most of the time I don't really have anything at all to say and words are just filler between photos.
When it comes to social media, I have been asked why I am not on every single platform in existence and the answer I give is always, "No one is intersting enough to come up with that much unique content."  If people get tired of me repeating myself here, they'd really get tired of reading it on all the social medias.  You see, celebrities and influencers have teams of people to help them think up new stuff, and sometimes they straight up steal from others.  They likely rose to fame because of one or two things and then that got old.  Suddenly they were scrambling to keep followers and stay relevant.  Martha Stewart seems like a prime example.  She started out solo, then had a team and then she wound up partnering with Snoop Dog.  If that isn't an attempt to stay relevant, I don't know what is.
The funny thing is, no one seems to realize all this.  The sad fact is, we're all pretty "boring" by the incredibly high standards that we (or the influencer/celebrity community) have set for ourselves and others.  So, when it turns out that influencers or celebrities are lying about how fabulous their lives are, they get caught without their team and say something stupid or look horrendous (aka normal, gasp!), or when they get exposed for stealing content from others, people are just shocked and outraged.  Turns out, it's all a facade, and even celebrities and influencers spend most of their time doing the regular, routine, boring stuff.
Rather than trying to keep up with that crowd or desperately try to please others, I think I'd rather just do this, just keep posting outfit photos for people to steal when they're selling things online, and talking about the same old things happening in my average life.  If something interesting happens, I'll be sure to mention that too.  That's the truth, and real life.  And people can take it or leave it.
