Are you a social butterfly? You know, the kind of person who thrives in social settings and makes it all seem so effortless? If you are, could you teach me?
I've always been the shy violet type, preferring small, (the smaller the better) intimate gatherings to large parties. But, I will say that I think three months at home has awakened the social butterfly in us all.
While I know it's probably not quite the time yet, at this point I think we're all dreaming of going to parties again and catching up with family and friends. I know I am.
I've been diligently reaching out to a few friends to ask them to have lunch, one on one, in a quiet setting, just to chat and reconnect. We have had the internet, video chats, and text messages all this lonesome while, but there's is nothing to compare with talking to a person face to face.
Speaking of online chats, I was in a fashion group text the other day and the subject of KarinaDresses came up. Normally the opinions on fashion subjects and brands vary pretty widely in this group, but when someone mentioned Karina, the love was instant and unanimous.
It brought a huge smile to my face to know that so many people love Karina as much as I do, because not only do they make amazing, quality dresses that are comfortable and chic, they're also just such a lovely and caring company full of wonderful people.
Another thing I have missed over the past three months is being able to dress up and wear my pretty dresses out into the world. Now that I am returning to work part time, I have been able to wear my newest Karina dress as part of this month's collaboration, the Nora Dress in Social Butterfly.
With its bright coral background and the lovely pop of colorful butterflies, is it any wonder my arrival at work was met with oooohs and aaaaahs. It seems my outfits and I have been missed around the office and I have missed them too. Guess there's hope for me becoming a social butterfly afterall.
