Double Date Night: ootd

Two date nights in six months?  This was too good to be true and called for something special.  I was in love with ModCloth's Floating on Aria dress, I loved its elegance and its style, but sadly they didn't have my size.  A couple of weeks later, since date night was still in the works, I was browsing Forever 21 and found another black lace lovely in the Lace Mock Neck Midi Dress I loved the lace, but wasn't sure I'd love the cut.  I shy away from body-con because I like to breathe.
Another couple of weeks passed, date night turned into staying-home-with-sick-children-night, and that's just how life goes sometimes. Then we got asked to go on a double date with a friend who is in a new relationship, and suddenly finding a little black dress was back on my to-do list.
Since I'm constantly browsing ThredUp anyway, it seemed sensible to to do a search there for black lace dresses.  It turned up this pretty little number by Pinky.  Sometimes you get lucky and find a doppelganger (look alike) to that fashionable item you love.  In my case, I couldn't believe how similar these three dresses are, but the best part is that the ThredUp dress was only $17.49 even beating F21 on the price.  I love everything about it, I think it has the best of both of the other dresses and I can't wait to wear it on double date night.
