Hello Audrey Hepburn! Would you look at this dress! Continuing my collab with GownTown, today I'm wearing this Vintage 50s ¾ sleeve wiggledress. The fit is amazing! Finally, the perfect no worries wiggle dress has arrived.
So, I had a major meeting coming up this week with my boss and the big boss. I didn't really need to feel nervous, but I felt nervous anyway. I wanted to look stylish, classy, intelligent, and confident, so of course this vintage style wiggle dress was my go-to dress. The compliments were pouring in from the moment I walked in the door.
Everyone around the office is used to my whimsical novelty prints, but the general consensus was that this dress looked chic and professional. Needless to say that's exactly how I felt and the meeting could not have gone better.
Do you want to feel that way in a wiggle dress? You can. No jitters at all with this Vintage 50s ¾ sleeve wiggle dress the fabric has stretch to it and there is a nice bit of camouflaging with the pockets and waist band area. This wiggle dress is such a gloriously comfortable fit; How often can you say that about a wiggle dress?!
I normally wear a size XS in US sizes, but after looking at GownTown's size chart I went up one size to a Small and it is a perfect fit. This dress has two pockets, a white contrast collar and sleeve cuffs, and little band at the waist which gives that extra defining quality to the waist line.
I accessorized with classic pearl necklace and earrings and black peep toe pumps. I thought the vintage camera novelty bag was the perfect finishing touch. And of course, I brought back the beehive for today's photos. Practice makes perfect and I would really like to be able to add another vintage style to my hairstyle repertoire.
If you love this dress as much as I do, you will not want to miss tomorrow's collab post of another vintage lovely from GownTown.
