Mod Alice Returns

Sometimes things happen on a photo shoot and I just don't get the shots I want. For this particular dress it was a worldwide shut down that caused me to only be able to take photos at home for a while and at the time I promised I would eventually come back to this Alice Dress and give it the attention and backdrop it deserved.

I keep my promises. I'm not exactly sure if it's because I'm an honest person or just an obsessive one, but those photos have been nagging me and I knew it was time to retake them. It's October after all, the season of all things edgy, dark, and twisty. Now, I don't think this dress is twisty, but edgy and a little dark, yes indeed. I am totally pleased with this second photo shoot. So much so that I am considering just removing the original.

I love this PU High Neck Alice Dress. More than I thought I would, actually. That's what I loved about working with FemmeLuxe, I got to try things I would never have normally considered, but I was always very pleasantly surprised by the outcome. I love the 1960s Mod vibe and the fit is pretty fantastic.

Maybe I should try to work this dress into some sort of 1960s Mod homage costume since All Hallows Eve approacheth and I am still without an idea for a costume. Hmmmm, I'll kick that idea around a bit and see what I come up with.
