I hadn't heard of Eva Rose until I saw several at Modern Millie. All the prints are quite lovely and unusual ranging from natural themes of plants and woodland animals to faces, etc. I've admired all the prints and cuts that I've seen so far and when I saw this mushroom print dress, I knew it was time to buy and try.
This dress does not disappoint! The price is very reasonable-$85 at Eva Rose and $78 at Modern Millie. The fabric is a nice sturdy quality. The print is crisp and the colors are bold. I bought one size up from my usual and the fit is quite nice, so do pay attention to the size charts when deciding which size to buy.
One of the things I love about Modern Millie is their style ideas. I've snagged two of their styled looks now and I love them both! I only altered this one slightly by using a bright orange neckerchief instead of a rusty orange scarf, but truth be told, I think I prefer the way they styled it with that burnt orange.
Any way you style it though, this dress is so vivacious and fun and the full skirt leaves you plenty of options for petticoat colors as well. Since I only have black and pink right now, I decided to wear black, but purple may be my next choice...as soon as I find a purple petticoat.
I'm so pleased with this brand I know I'll be wearing more of their dresses and skirts in the future and spring is just around the corner so I'm excite to see what Eva Rose and Modern Millie have in store!
