All the Time and None of the Time

You know, I really thought that all those months of mandatory time at home would allow me to focus on a few things at which I've really wanted to improve, like playing the ukulele for example.  I thought, finally, I'll have all this time and no distractions!  I'll have all the time in world!  How many of you can relate to that?
Now, some people out there did an absolutely brilliant job of using that time to improve themselves in some way.  I, on the other hand, found that working from home can be even more time consuming that working at the office and I had none of the time I thought that I would.
I don't like to leave things undone and I very often found that I worked longer hours and more days because the work was right there and fully accessible instead of being in a locked building at the end of a long commute.
That's not to say that there weren't some good things to come of all my time at home.  I became an avid afternoon-tea-drinker and lunch-with-the-family-er.  I also had a nice garden and my animals had all the attention they could bear.
But my dear ukulele just sat there gathering dust.  Oh well, maybe this is my year, and maybe I'll make the time in spite of my schedule rapidly filling up again.  Where there's a will, there's always a way.
